This advancement highlights the Group’s exceptional performance and ongoing progress in various ESG areas, including its commitment to the 1.5°C global warming limit or Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), climate disclosure, and the establishment of quantitative targets for key environmental performance indicators. The “2024 Greater Bay Area Sustainable Development Forum and Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA) Ceremony”, organized by Alaya Consulting and co-organized by China Chengxin Green Finance International Limited (CCXGF), celebrates the exceptional ESG achievements of over 80 enterprises. HERA is the world’s first ESG award to receive a special nomination from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Investment Policy Review, underscoring its global significance and credibility in promoting transparency, accountability, and best practices in sustainable development.
The CarbonCare ESG Label, established by the Carbon Care Innovation Lab, aims to encourage and recognize organizations that actively address climate change. Participating organizations commit to reducing their carbon footprint or achieving carbon neutrality through measures such as carbon measurement, emissions reduction, and offsetting.
