Under the alignments of COP 29 Azerbaijan, SECOTO International green launched, The Climate Narrative Program that designed to empower individuals at the village level to engage in discussions about climate change. This initiative recognizes that local communities are often on the front lines of climate impacts and that their voices are crucial in shaping effective responses. The program aims to foster a deeper understanding of climate issues and encourage grassroots advocacy by providing tools and platforms for storytelling, education, and dialogue. This Initiative will serves as a platform for sharing these stories but also aims to inspire others to take action within their communities and encourage young people to be the storytellers of their Legacies from village to the worldwide
The primary goal is to give community members a platform to express their experiences and concerns regarding climate change. This empowerment helps ensure that local knowledge and perspectives are included in broader climate discussions.
The program seeks to educate participants about climate science, its impacts, and potential solutions. Workshops, seminars, and informational materials are provided to enhance understanding by learning from another.
By bringing together diverse stakeholders such as local leaders, NGOs, scientists, and residents. The program promotes collaborative problem solving tailored to specific community needs.
Collecting stories from individuals about how climate change affects their lives helps create a rich database of local narratives that can inform policy decisions at higher levels.
The program encourages participants to advocate for policies that address their unique challenges related to climate change. This includes training on effective communication strategies and how to engage with policymakers.
Storytellers are invited to submit their stories detailing successful projects and initiatives. Alert of climate issues or activities that have made a positive impact on their community through the categories; Energy, Loss and damage, Sports for Climate, Ecotourism ( Environmental heritage), Children and nature, plastics waste,
environmental education, Green Business, Culture performing Arts and Green Fashion and other actions regarding for Saving the earth from Global warming.

These submissions stories should include:
A detailed project account, including its objectives, methods, and outcomes.
Information on how the community was engaged in the project, including partnerships with local organizations or stakeholders.
Evidence of the project’s success, such as quantity or quality feedback from community members
Every story should not exceed Four pictures regarding the events, for Terms and Conditions
Submissions must adhere to specific formatting guidelines provided by SECOTO Magazine, ensuring clarity and consistency across entries.
The submitted stories will be evaluated based on several criteria:
How unique and original is the approach taken in addressing climate issues?
To what extent did the project involve residents and stakeholders?
What tangible results were achieved as a result of the initiative?
How well is the story presented? Is it engaging and informative?
how people are interested in your stories after published?
The entries will be judged by a panel of experts in environmental science, community organizing, and journalism.
The competition 30 Stories will have received awards and culminate in an awards ceremony where participants with the most viewed stories will receive recognition for their efforts. The awards may include:
