In line with its mission and vision, the Loss and Damage Youth Coalition has stepped into COP29 to tell the world that no barrier can hold back the determination of a global movement fighting for justice and equity.

This fight transcends borders, and our collective power grows stronger every day” the post added.

Amid the crushing weight of inaction, broken promises, and deliberate negligence from those who hold the reins of power, we stand firm, rising together with the strength of collective action and unwavering determination.”

Loss and Damage Youth Coalition is made up of 1000+ youths in more than 100 countries. Its mission is to build a borderless global partnership between youth, to take action on addressing loss and damage.
This is the coalition of youths from the global North and South who have come together to demand action to address the loss and damage caused by climate change.
The like-minded youths share a ‘dream World’, where the impacts of loss and damage get addressed equitably. A world where developed countries take responsibility for their outsize contribution to the climate crisis by treating loss and damage with a sense of urgency. A world where we honor the rights of future generations to a safe climate.
