Sustainable Environmental Conservation Tournaments – SECOTO was launched in the COP28 UAE, as the global platform that will bring together 165 eco-sports clubs from different countries, in green sports competitions, under the management of SECOTO eco sports Event LLC, based in the United Arab Emirates.
The recent COP29, in Azerbaijan, became a pivotal event in the global climate agenda. Here are the highlights from COP29 Baku, on behalf of SECOTO International Green FCZ which is going to be aligned with the COP29 Initiative till COP 30.
1. Official launching of SECOTO Magazine, as a media platform that focuses on promoting Greenpreneurs, sports & entertainment for climate, Climate narrative SDG campaigns, and Sustainable tourism. It will provide in-depth coverage and analysis of these topics while emphasizing their interconnectedness of successful stories from 165 countries and, reflecting the four main areas of interest for the publication.

2. Organizing annual events of the Greenpreneurs and Climate Narrative awards. This initiative is designed to highlight effective strategies and impactful actions taken by individuals or groups in combating climate change.
This initiative not only serves as a platform for sharing these stories but also aims to inspire others to take action within their communities and encourage young people to be the storytellers of their legacies, from villages to the world. 3. Organizing Annual International conferences of Sports and entertainments for climate, with the Ministry of youth and sports Azarbeijan. This will typically focuses on the intersection of sports, entertainment, and environmental sustainability.
It will bring together government organizations, environmental organizations, artists, athletes, social media influencers, sportainement and environmental journalists, with climate activists from all over the world, to discover how these sectors must contribute to climate action by fit in those actors to create awareness around environmental issues and taking action on climate agenda from the village to the international level.
4. Inauguration of African Green Cup™, Asian Green Cup™, European Green Cup™, South American Green Cup™, North American Green Cup™, and World Green Cup™ of Eco Clubs in Football, Volleyball, basketball, and Performing Arts.
5. East African Children Conservation Camp 2025 First edition. Children between 12-15 years, from communities surrounding East Africa protected areas will attend Children Conservation Camp –CCC. The camp will be pivotal opportunity to connect the next generation with nature and learning about wildlife conservation as well as culture exchange in case to help them to live and interact in peace with nature for sustainable development.
