The Sustainable Environmental Conservation Tournaments (SECOTO) has released a 2023-2024 report that highlights achievements, challenges, and future goals in promoting an environmentally mindful sporting culture.
The annual report was released by the CEO of the SECOTO International Green, Patience Shumbusho, to create room for everyone to fit in the realms of sports for environmental conservation.
As the only mega sports event dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness about environmental issues through sports and Arts, SECOTO is now under SECOTO International Green. It serves as the platform for athletes, organizations, and communities to come together, in the spirit of Eco competition while championing the cause of ecological preservation.

Key Highlights from SECOTO 2023-2024
On climate change, the reports recap that SECTO was established to promote ‘Sports for Climate’ through transforming sports clubs into eco sports and environmental clubs and arts into Eco-arts as the key to the sustainable youth empowerment programs
On wildlife and people, there have been initiatives taken to minimize carbon emissions through eco-friendly transportation options for participants and spectators.
On the DGG campaign, SECOTO has been serving as the heavenly platform for creating awareness about sustainable development goals. These have to be done from local communities approach to the international level.
On Sustainable Tourism, SECOTO states that there is no sustainable tourism without sustainable conservation. This annual report, 2023/2024 reveals that the SECOTO platform provides access to conservation in the community and new ways to discover and create community tourism in their areas, which is the best way to create new jobs based on Tourism.
On the Culture Exchange: SECOTO brings together young people from all different countries, different cultures, religions, ethnicities, and indigenous with the same purpose to act on the climate agenda with the same mindset and spirit through Mega-sports events on conservation and green performing Arts.
