On Tuesday, 3 November, Apostolic Women Empowerment Trust, along with Miracle Missions, Clean & Green, and Forestry Commission Zimbabwe, planted an indigenous tree from the Miombo woodland, called Vachellia sieberiana, also known as Acacia sieberiana in Sam Levy village, Barrowdale, a suburb of Harare.
Treasuring the event, they posted that the “[indigenous] tree thrives in low soils and grows quickly. It is a drought-tolerant tree with long tap roots that provides good shade.”
